Image via WikipediaI am a big fan of the Avett Brothers and all of their southern, frayed, traditional meets rock, edgy, artsy and melodious offerings. Their new EP The Gleam II has hit the street as a stripped down folk offering. All but one of the 8 tracks even includes electric instruments and even then, "The Greatest Sum" is offered up in both acoustic and electric format.The Avett Brothers have once again offered up a great release and one of my favorite blogs The Aquarium Drunkard has given review.
