Outlandish fiddler Sara Watkins (Nickel Creek) has joined forces with Tift Merritt to open seven shows along the west coast. It sounds like all of the recording is complete and its down to the finishing touches. At the Myspace link above you can hear a few tunes including "Jefferson" and the Gordon Lightfoot cover "Early Morning Rain" which I hope/presume will be on the new album.
